Annual Sundown Patrol Ski Swap
On November 8th – shop and sell new/used gear while supporting the sundown ski patrol!
Every fall, the Sundown Ski Patrol holds a fundraiser to help support the patrol. Proceeds from the Annual Swap enable patrollers to further their education and hone their skills in areas such as Outdoor Emergency Care, skiing, snowboarding, and toboggan handling. This is the time for skiers and snowboarders to purchase new and used equipment and receive incredible deals. The Ski Patrol will help you sell your used ski and/or snowboard equipment for a nominal fee.

HOW TO SELL YOUR GEAR AT THE SWAP
1
Clean + PRice Used Gear
Boots, skis, snowboards, helmets, jackets, sweaters, or any other snow sports items in good condition are welcome. Give everything a quick clean before drop-off, since clean gear sells faster. Damaged or heavily worn items will be refused, and some ski bindings can't be sold (a list of indemnified bindings will be available at check-in).
When setting your prices, keep in mind that most people come to a swap looking for a deal, so price low if you want your items to sell. For a ballpark, check comparable used items on Facebook, Google, eBay, or Poshmark.
2
REGISTER YOUR GEAR
Register any items you'd like to sell online before the swap. It only takes a few minutes and makes check-in much faster, since our volunteers won't need to enter your information on the spot. There's no need to print labels at home. Ski Patrol will print and attach them for you at check-in on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 9:00am to noon.

Be sure your phone number and mailing address are up to date, so you'll get a text when your items sell and your check arrives at the right place.
3
Drop off Gear
Drop off items to sell at the Mountain Center on Saturday, November 7, 2026, from 9:00am - 12pm (no Sunday check-ins). Ski Patrol charges a handling fee of $5 for 1-5 items, plus $2 for each additional item, due at drop-off.
Did you register your items online ahead of time? Great! We'll print and attach your labels and add them to the swap. If not, please allow time at check-in for our volunteers to set up an account for you.
4
PICK-UP + PAYMENT
If your items sell, you'll get a text, and Ski Patrol will write you a check for the sale total minus a 15% fee. Checks not picked up in person will be mailed one week after the swap to the address on your account.
Unsold items must be picked up between 3:00 and 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 8, 2026. Anything left after 5:00 p.m. becomes a donation, and Ski Patrol may sell or dispose of it and keep any proceeds.
