Everyone belongs on the mountain.
Sundown Mountain Resort offers adaptive lessons and equipment for skiers of all ages with physical, visual, or cognitive disabilities. Every lesson is built around the individual skier, with the goal of helping you ski as independently as possible and have a great time doing it.
Adaptive Lessons
Our instructors work with you to find the right equipment and approach for your needs. Friends and family are always welcome to join in.
- Lessons are available at Sundown Mountain Resort for blind and physically challenged individuals of all ages.
- Our adaptive ski lessons are tailored to the needs of the skier. In addition, we have a variety of specialized equipment available.
- Friends and family are encouraged to participate. Our goal is to help the skier achieve the greatest independence and adventure that adaptive skiing offers.

Become a Ski Buddy Volunteer
Help us grow our adaptive program! We’re looking for volunteers who love skiing and want to share it with others. Volunteers need intermediate skiing ability and their own ski equipment.
