Kids Lessons
Ignite your child’s passion for outdoor FUN with ski lessons from Sundown Mountain Resort! Give them life-long memories in a safe and FUN environment and watch their confidence soar as they learn new techniques with our trained instructors.
Quantities are limited and subject to availability. Online reservations are strongly recommended to secure your spot and must be purchased by 5 PM the day before your scheduled lesson. Walk-ins will be accepted if we have the capacity.
Kids Park: Ages 3-11
One-time lessons are available in our Kids Park, an area just for kids located next to North Lodge on weekends and holidays.
Session Times:
Weekends and holidays (Dec 24, 26-31, Jan. 16, and Feb. 20) only
10 AM, Noon, & 2 PM
$60 includes an all-area lift ticket* and a 90-minute lesson
$38 rental equipment with helmet**
Ski School: Ages 9 & Older
Daily lessons are available at our Ski School located behind the Mountain Center.
Session Times:
Tuesday-Thursday: 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 3 pm, and 6 pm
Friday: 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm, and 7 pm
Weekends and Holidays (MLK and Presidents’ Day): 10:30 am, 12:30 pm, 3 pm, and 6 pm
$24 per person per 90-minute lesson
Does NOT include Lift Ticket or Rental
Private Lessons: Ages 9 & Older
Private lessons are offered daily. Lessons start at 60 minutes and up for customer preference. Available all day.
Learn To Ski/Snowboard Program:
We offer 3-Week Kids Park Learn To Ski programs for ages 3-11 and 4-Week Learn To Ski programs for ages 9 and older. These 90-minute lessons are held once a week (same day) for three or four consecutive weeks. Registration is now open for these programs during the 2022-2023 season.
*Valid all day of your lesson.
**Rental reservations must be made by 3 PM the day before your scheduled lesson.
