Olympic Competition Day – FREE ENTRY!
Experience the thrill of competition at Sundown Mountain with our Olympic-style events, open to the public and perfect for all ages. Test your skills in the Silly Slalom Alpine Event, featuring a playful format aligned with Olympic slalom, with timed or judged runs depending on staffing.
Try your speed and coordination in the One-Foot Race, a fast-paced novelty event inspired by SkiMo, or team up for the Four-Legged Race, a 100ft uphill challenge with three participants tied together for a fun and competitive climb.
Snowboarders and skiers can also take on the Boardercross Course, with rollers, jumps, and a bracket-style elimination format. All courses are clearly signed, with terrain markers and Olympic-style scoring. Podium-style awards will be presented for Gold, Silver, and Bronze winners, making this a family-friendly, spectator-friendly, and highly energetic day on the mountain.
