- Rail Jam - 15 minutes to throw down as many of your best tricks as possible. Skiers and riders separated by age and ability. All participants earn a prize! Prizes from Sundown, NACHO, Gnar Nation, and Olliewood Action Sports.

SkOLF - Kick Off Party
- December 27, 2019
- Ages: 8-20
- No Entry Fee
- SkOLF: Come eat pizza and get your score card! Every Friday night a “9 feature” SkOLF course will be set up across our mountain. Skiers and riders visit each feature and attempt to complete the specified trick over that feature in the attempts allowed. Go out on your own time, progress your skills and have a blast with friends. Attempts are scored like strokes in golf. At the end of the season the skiers and riders with the least amount of “strokes/attempts” win prizes!! Prizes from Sundown, Pepsi, NACHO and Gnar Nation.

Winter Carnival Skills Cup
- Saturday, January 4, 2020
- Ages: 8-20
- Cost: $20 per Competition
- High Ollie Contest: Jump the bar, be the last one standing and win a prize. Skiers and riders separated by age and ability.
- STOKE: Skiers and riders separated by ages and abilities. Skiers/Riders must perform trick requested by judges, otherwise earn a letter. Tricks start simple and get harder as the game goes on. Last person to spell S-T-O-K-E wins!

Iowa Winter Games Alpine Freeride Competition

- Who doesn’t like going fast!? Streak through the gates at your fastest pace and see how it stacks up against the competition. Skiers and riders separated by ages and ability. Fastest times earn Gold, Silver and Bronze medals!

- Skiers and riders get two runs to lay down their best tricks across an entire run through South Terrain Park! Only the best of the two runs is scored. Participants separated by age, ability and discipline. Prizes include gold, silver and bronze medals!

Tell A Friend Tour with Line Traveling Circus

- No Entry Fee
- Come out and ski with the pros! Andy Parry and his friends from the Traveling Circus return to Sundown to pass out cash and prizes for tricks on their “Tell A Friend Tour.” Don’t miss out on this fun opportunity to meet and ski with some of the best park skiers around! Brought to you by Sundown, NACHO, and Mtn Dew. All are welcome!

- Rail/Air Jam Format: Calling all geezers!! Contest for kids and adults. 15 minutes to throw down as many tricks as you can. Skiers and Riders separated by age and discipline. Winners take home prizes from Sundown, Mtn Dew, NACHO, and Alaskan Brewing.

- Slope Style for skiers and riders, separated by age and discipline. Three runs to throw down your best stuff! Scores are recorded and used to create cumulative total of the two events. Highest compound score wins.
