WELCOME to the 2025 Sundown Ski Patrol Ski/Board Swap
Every fall, the Sundown Ski Patrol holds a fundraiser to help support the patrol. The proceeds from the Annual Swap enable patrollers to further their education and hone their skills in areas such as Outdoor Emergency Care, skiing, snowboarding, and toboggan handling. This is the time for skiers and snowboarders to purchase new and used equipment and to receive incredible deals. The Ski Patrol will help you sell your used ski and/or snowboard equipment for a nominal fee.
SWAP SALE: Sunday, November 9, 2025, 9:00 AM–3:00 PM in the Mountain Center.
Equipment Check-in (Sell your stuff):
- Saturday, November 8, 2025, 8:00 AM-Noon; No Sunday Check-ins
Equipment Check-Out and Customer Pay out:
- Sunday, November 9, 2025, 3:00-5:00 PM
How Does it Work?
All persons wanting to SELL items at the swap should register BEFORE the SWAP using this LINK: Register Your Inventory/Sign up. Ski Patrol will PRINT and attach your labels at Check-in.
- Dust off those gently used boots, skis, snowboards, helmets, jackets, sweaters, or any snow sports-related items you think someone might want to buy. There are some restrictions on what ski bindings the ski patrol can sell. A list of indemnified bindings will be available at the SWAP check-in counter. Damaged or severely worn items will be refused.
- Decide on a price you would like to sell your items for; Think low if you want to get rid of your items. Most folks attend a swap to get a good deal. You can check Facebook, Google, eBay, or Poshmark for comparable used items’ prices.
- EQUIPMENT CHECK-IN (Register Your Inventory/Sign up to sell your items): Drop off items to sell at the Mountain Center on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to noon; No Sunday check-ins, please. Ski Patrol charges a $5 handling fee for 1-5 items and $2 for each additional item to be sold; This amount is due when you drop off your item(s). The volunteers at check-in will take your information and enter it into our database if you have not registered your inventory ahead of time (See LINK above). If you have registered your items, we’ll PRINT your labels, ATTACH them to your items, and add your items to our SWAP. You may choose to DONATE your unsold items.
- EQUIPMENT CHECK-OUT and PAYMENTS: If your item(s) sell, Ski Patrol writes you a check for the total items sold minus 15% of the sale, which the Ski Patrol keeps. You will receive a text message when the item(s) sell. Items not sold should be picked up and checked out from 3:00-5:00 PM on Sunday, November 9, 2025. Items not picked up by 5:00 PM Sunday will be considered a donation. Sundown Ski Patrol may sell your item(s), or dispose of them accordingly, and retain any and all funds from your item’s sale.
- I want to sell my items at the SWAP. Now, what do I do? Click on the LINK in step 3 above to register online BEFORE you bring your items to Check-in. You need to include your phone number and email address; you will be required to VERIFY your email address to continue. Once you’ve verified your account, you can start entering your items into our database. You can download a copy of your item list; don’t worry about printing your labels or attaching them to your items. SKI PATROL will PRINT your LABELS and ATTACH them to your items when you bring your items to check-in on Saturday, November 8, at 8:00 AM-Noon. If your item(s) sell, you’ll receive a text message; you can pick up your check between 3:00-5:00 pm Sunday, 11/9, or checks will be mailed out the week after the swap to the address you entered in your account.
