Further updates to our website will be made in September 2008. SUNDOWN MOUNTAIN is BIG, BEAUTIFUL and EXCITING. Countless skiers and riders return year after year to enjoy our slopes. It is the only Midwest resort granted the National Ski Area Association Award of Excellence. Our highest lift has a greater top to bottom vertical than all resorts in Illinois, Missouri, Iowa and Minnesota resorts south of Duluth, and all but 2 Wisconsin resorts. Two mountaintop lodges overlook 21 scenic trails and a remarkable terrain park that are carved out of a century old cedar forest, reminiscent of Colorado.
